A HIDDEN GEM
The Burnt Mills Community is a unique little neighborhood in Silver Spring, tucked away between U.S. 29 and the Northwest Branch. We, its residents, think it’s a special place. This site is meant as a way to share what makes it so great with our fellow residents, prospective new neighbors, and the rest of the world.
For now, we’re just getting the site up to speed, so expect the content to change (and improve!) over the coming weeks and months. In the meantime, feel free to poke around and if you have any helpful questions or suggestions, drop us a line at [email protected].
If you’re just visiting, please take a few minutes to check out our history and learn about the who, what, when, and where of our neighborhood. If you’re thinking about moving to the area, be sure to also check out all the local resources available to our residents. And, if you already live here like we do, please make sure you’re signed up for our neighborhood listserv, so you can stay up to date on all the communication between your neighbors.
We’ll soon be launching a residents-only web forum (login required) where you’ll be able to interact in real time with your fellow residents and access an archive of helpful conversations and recommendations.
